Righteous are those who believe in God, the Last Day, the Angels, the Scripture, and the Prophets, and the GIVE THEIR MONEY cheerfully, to the relative, the orphans, the needy, the traveling alien, the beggars, and to FREE THE SLAVES, and they observe the contact prayer and give the obligatory Charity, and they KEEP THEIR WORD whenever they make a PROMISE, and they steadfastly persevere IN THE FACE OF PERSECUTION, HARDSHIP AND WAR. These are the truthful, these are the righteous" 2:177
First I don't know where to begin in regards to the principals taught about giving back to your community and outside that as to help travelers and freeing slaves.
I don't think anyone would DISAGREE with the principals taught here.
The Quran explains what a Righteous person is, also not the Righteous are mentioned alot in the Quran, and among them are all believers in the One true God over all creation.
There is no dispute in that matter whatsoever, The Quran explain and teaches its lessons to mankind as a whole, all readers realize that its a book written to interact with you personally.

The Palestinian Perspective: What the World Looks Like from the West Bank
When I first visited the Palestinian territories, I was afraid I would have to hide my identity as an American and possibly wear a headscarf. To my surprise, I was warmly welcomed exactly as I was, and after more than two years living and working there, it remains one of my favorite spots on earth. The people are charming and generous, the landscape is gorgeous, and the parties, concerts, and beer gardens in Ramallah are world-class.
But behind all this looms the conflict, the occupation, and violence. Since September 2000, more than 5,500 Palestinians and 1,100 Israelis have been killed. A series of walls, fences, roadblocks, checkpoints, army bases, and settlements keep the Palestinians in the West Bank under an almost constant state of siege and strangle the economy of many towns and villages, including Bethlehem. Gaza has been turned into an open-air prison whose desperate inmates can only get vital supplies through smuggling tunnels -- which also transport weapons that Palestinian militants use to target Israeli civilians.
Using photographs, stories, and statistics, this presentation colors in the Palestinian experience, with all its complexity and contradictions, as it is rarely shown on the news or in books. It is a fascinating world of beauty and terror, of hospitality and homicide, of the absurd and the sublime constantly together -- a microcosmic view of a little-understood human story with global implications.

Why do Muslims fast in Ramadan?
Every year in the month of Ramadan, all Muslims fast from dawn until sundown--abstaining from food, drink, sexual relations with their spouses and a Muslim must try to remain as pure as possible from worldly measures, as well as evil manipulations and desires. A muslim must refrain from the usual everyday habits, to establish more spiritual ties through prayers.
Those who are sick, elderly, or on a journey, and women who are menstruating, pregnant or nursing, are permitted to break the fast and make up an equal number of days later in the year if they are healthy and able. Children begin to fast (and to observe prayers) from puberty, although many start earlier.
Although fasting is beneficial to health, it is mainly a method of self-purification and self-restraint. By cutting oneself from worldly comforts, even for a short time, a fasting person focuses on his or her purpose in life by constantly being aware of the presence of God. God states in the Qur'an: "O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed to those before you that you may learn self-restraint." (Qur'an 2:183)

The Prophet said: "He should urge others to do good." The Companions said: "What if he lacks that also?" The Prophet said: "He should check himself from doing evil. That is also an act of charity."
What is the Adan/Call to Prayer ?

Islamic Stand Against Terrorism and 9 11
In Iran, they observed a minute's silence for the victims of 9/11. Ayatollah Imami Kashani said this act of terrorism could only be condemned by all Muslims, adding that the whole world should mobilise against terrorism. On September 18th, Iranians held a vigil on the streets of Tehran. They lit candles, prayed for the victims, and condemned terrorism.
In Bangladesh and Indonesia they held rallies condemning terrorism.
Palestinian organizations strongly condemned the terrorist attack. Palestinians held candle light vigils on September 12th and 14th to express their grief and solidarity with Americans. (Subhanahu wa ta’ala, meaning: the Exalted, Most Glorious) tells mankind that Prophet Muhammad is no more than a Messenger (Qur’an 3: 144), the unlettered Prophet who believes in Him and His Words (Qur’an 7: 158). He is the Seal of the Prophets and the true universal Messenger of Allâh to the whole mankind (Qur’an 33: 40). Allah (S.W.T.), the All-Mighty, makes this very clear:
